Absolutely! This is how we got our start and earned our reputation as a premier fence company. Check out our FENCE GALLERY to see examples of our awesome custom wood fences.

One of the reasons wood fences are so popular in Florida is that they can be customized for nearly every style and situation.

Many fence companies low-ball their initial bid, then come back with additional charges just before the project starts. We don't do that! Also, we use only top-quality products and top-quality fence installers. Quality costs a little more but is worth every penny in the long-run! Believe me, you can't afford to choose the cheaper guys!

There are some pretty important differences that I can see, that distinguish us from many of the other fence companies in St. Augustine and the surrounding area. As members of the American Fence Association (AFA) - we maintain the highest levels of professionalism and expertise that are uncommon in the fencing industry ... not just in St. Augustine, but across Florida and the entire U.S. We have fenced in nearly a quarter MILLION square miles! There are few companies in the country that have that much experience in fencing! If you are a believer in the adage "practice makes perfect", then we are about as "perfect" as you can get in a St. Augustine Florida fence company! Our owner, Mark Olson is recognized as one of the leaders in the fencing industry in the U.S. Mark represents "excellence" in the fencing industry, which is a direct benefit to all of our St. Augustine neighbors who choose to work with his company—SWi Florida!

Each type of fence has its advantages for specific situations. St. Augustine, like all of Florida, has serious heat and humidity issues to consider. These can be tough on a fence. My experience is that the QUALITY of the fence and the materials you are using is more important than the type of fence. Wood fences, for example, can withstand the harsh St. Augustine climate if you use a higher grade wood and take care to either pre-stain the wood or seal the wood regularly. Unfortunately, we have found that some local fence companies in St. Augustine use low grade lumber when building their fences. This becomes obvious just a year or two later when the fence is already beginning to fail. Aluminum fencing, vinyl fencing, and chain link fencing are all good options for St. Augustine residents - depending on the specific needs of your situation. Again, the quality of the materials that are being used and the quality of the installation are more important than the specific type of fence you choose. At SWi Florida, we ONLY use high-quality materials and superior installation techniques when installing fences. That is why we are such a popular choice with you friends and neighbors across the St. Augustine, Florida region.

Aluminum fencing comes in many different heights and lengths. Generally speaking, most styles of aluminum fence come in heights from 4ft tall up to 8ft tall. Our residential aluminum fences come in 48", 54", 57", 60", and 72". Aluminum fence section lengths also vary depending on the style. Absolutely! Aluminum fencing is the top choice for Florida residents to protect their pools - meeting even the most stringent pool codes. Because aluminum doesn't rust, it is a great choice for wet areas. Being able to see through the fence allows you to keep an eye on what is going on in the pool - another key safety feature for parents and homeowners.

Yes. Chain link fence is a popular choice for many Florida property owners. We are experts at chain link fencing.

Generally, chain link fencing is galvanized to protect from rust and corrosion. It does also come coated with a PVC or polymer coating in various colors which greatly improves the look and the durability of the fence.

Many people don't realize that chain link fencing comes in heights up to 12ft or even higher. Obviously, anything over 8ft is usually not intended for residential applications in Florida

Chain link fencing is a great choice for Florida property owners. Our experience is that chain link fences last an average of 20+ years in Florida and PVC or polymer coated chain link lasts even longer.
